Toward the end of the fall semester our team participated in a brainstorming activity around our shared values. (Super fun!) Our values inform our thoughts, words, and actions. Could you share a list of your personal values with a friend? How about your top 5 values?

A habit is a routine or practice performed regularly; an automatic response to a specific situation. Some claim that the quality of our lives often depends on the quality of our habits. How about you, are your habits helping? #HabitsWork

Habits have cognitive and behavioral elements. A model to consider is the habit loop by Charles Duhigg: cue > routine > reward. If you find a habit that’s not contributing to your success, you can change your response (routine) to the cue (stimuli) and generate a reward.
