🔥 Fire incident at Shaikh Ayaz Auditorium, Arts Faculty Building, University of Sindh due to a short circuit. Kudos to the security guards & staff for swift self-help extinguishing. No casualties, just minor damage to the auditorium roof. Everything's fine and under control.

Fire update: Despite the swift action of our security guards and staff in extinguishing the fire at Shaikh Ayaz Auditorium, it's concerning that the fire brigade arrived an hour late. Grateful for the quick response internally, but timely external support is crucial.

The University of Sindh has waived fees for admission, examinations & hostel for Palestinian students, who are in distress due to Israeli aggression on their homeland, & asked teachers to extend them maximum cooperation in studies & extra curricular issues. UNICEF Palestine
