Speak Out is this week! this is our annual event that helps raise awareness of Interpersonal Violence. Survivors and loved ones are invited to share their personal stories in a comforting and supportive environment ♥️

Wear denim tomorrow! Denim Day was made bc a rape conviction was overturned. They victim was wearing tight jeans so the justices said she must have helped her attacker remove them. Therefore, they inferred consent. We wear denim to protest these inaccurate and harmful attitudes!

Yesterday was #DenimDay 💙 the whole CARE office showed that they support survivors of sexual assault by showing up in their best denim!

Two of our staff members, Ryane and Caitlin, will be on the radio tonight! They will be speaking on a local weekly public health radio show called “SOH Time.” The interview will be live tonight from 6pm to 7pm on Making an Impact, 104.9 FM and streams on Facebook Live.
