Last week’s action (turning off cameras & displaying our logo) had 100% participation from our unit! Today, we’re entering a marathon week of bargaining with United for Respect. We ask management to put forward fair proposals with raises for all & increased vacation days.

We’re still in our marathon week of bargaining. In solidarity & hope of a fair contract, we’ve all changed our Slack profile pictures to our logo!

Today ActBlue laid off 54 employees, 32 of which were in our bargaining unit. Layoffs unfairly punish union employees who are both not responsible for the current financial difficulties & have invested considerable effort into making ActBlue what it is today

Layoffs are always difficult, and as such should be handled with care, compassion & transparency. This has not been our experience.

On the 12th day of Christmas United for Respect gave to me: "I'm a single mother without a support system. Come Jan. 1st, I'm faced with trying to figure out how to pay my rent."

On the 12th day of Christmas' UFR gave me, a pear tree of stress and uncertainty.

The holidays are supposed to be a happy occasion, sadly for one member it has been stressful. Imagine losing all of the money deposits you already spent for what was supposed to be a joyous & special occasion!
