There's a lot more cars on campus the first few weeks of the quarter. Plan to arrive before 10am to avoid parking congestion. You can view live lot counts at lotspaces.ucr.edu

Free parking is available at the Park & Ride Lot located at the Hunter Park Metrolink Station. Hop on RTA Route 56 to get to campus.

All RTA buses have easy to use racks for up to two bikes.

Visibility is key! Without proper lighting, bikes & scooters can be difficult to see. CA law states that both bikes & scooters must have a front white light that is visible from 300 feet away as well as a red reflector or red light on the back that's visible from 500 feet away.

How do you exit an RTA bus? Simply push the yellow strip located between windows to signal the bus driver that you want to get off at the next stop. Once the bus comes to a stop, exit out the rear door and make sure you have all your belongings.

RTA Route 56 connects the Hunter Park Metrolink Station with UCR including stops around the southeast side of the campus and University Village. It operates weekdays from apx. 6am-7pm and provides stops near A-I, Bourns Hall, the School of Medicine, and the School of Business.

You can take Metrolink from Riverside to places such as LA Union Station, Irvine, and Oceanside. Start taking some adventures!

You can get to the front gate of Disneyland by taking RTA Route 1 to Downtown Riverside and then transfer to Route 200. The last bus returns after the fireworks show!

Use RTA's GoMobile app to plan your trip, get bus arrival times and to receive important service alerts.

Park your car at the Park & Ride Lot at Moreno Valley Mall and take RTA Route 16 to campus. Just swipe your ID card to ride!

Making plans for Spring Break? You can travel to over 15 cities on Flix Bus, including LA, San Diego, Santa Barbara & Vegas. UCR stop is located in Parking Lot 30 near the benches next to the RTA sign. Purchase tickets online at Flixbus.com

Not sure what transit routes to take? You can use Google Maps and Apple Maps as a tool. Just type in your destination and switch the mode of transportation to "transit". The map will show you the different routes to take by bus or train.

All Metrolink trains have a designated Bike Car accommodating up to 9 bikes. This is in addition to the regular train cars that hold up to 3 bikes each. Bike Cars are identified by a yellow "Bike Car" decal on the side of the train. Bikes must be safely secured to the racks.

Whether you're walking or using any type of micro-mobility devices, stay visible and make eye contact with drivers before you cross the street.

RTA's Route 14 travels between UCR (at Iowa Avenue) and Loma Linda with stops in Grand Terrace and High Grove. It runs apx. every hour and on weekends too!

Looking for a fun place to relax, study, or chat with a friend? Take RTA to a local favorite, Back to the Grind. It's a unique place to grab a coffee or smoothie. Catch Route 1 at Bannockburn and exit at University/Lemon. Students ride free with their UPASS.

Metrolink's Student Adventure Pass includes free transfers on the Metro Rail. Just open the app, click on your Student Adventure Pass, and scan the QR code at the digital readers to open the Metro gate.
