That one is easy to answer Karin. The more difficult question is will DHS suspend 90 and 120 day unemployment regs for those on OPT?

Nearly 275,000 unique registrations were submitted during the initial H-1B lottery registration period. At $10 a pop, that means DHS collected $2,750,000 just for letting companies ask for an H-1B slot.

Working at a school where 25 - 30% of our international student population uses OPT, this has the potential to negatively impact our enrollment numbers.

I'm not sure I believe this figure. I wish SEVIS was accurate and up-to-date with such data. It would nice if we could run a report to actually see how many of our active students are outside the US.

So the Trump Administration slows processing times, increases denials, and bars certain applications, causing USCIS to run out of money, and now applicants have to make up the deficit? nytimes.com/2020/05/17/us/…

Between a nationalistic administration and COVID-19 issues I feel like all I do is ..... media.giphy.com/media/3ov9jDba…

Thank you Senator Brown Sherrod Brown for showing support for the institutions of higher education in Ohio and all the great international students who study and live in our state by signing warren.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/…

So the agency that currently takes 9 months or more to process any I-539 is going to implement a rule that will end up requiring hundreds of thousands of additional I-539 applications to be filed? This won't end well for students, institutions or DHS!

So one day a rule gets proposed that will require hundreds of thousands of extension applications to be filed, then they approve a means to allow for premium processing of those petitions at $1,750 a pop. Both genius and reprehensible! forbes.com/sites/stuartan…
