In my latest for The Telegraph I argue that repealing the Vagrancy Act and open borders could combine to create US-style tent cities. Instead of fake compassion, we should deport destitute foreigners and put those with problems into secure accommodation. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/1…

1/Good Morning folks! 👋 Thrilled to debut in The Critic. My latest piece asks: why does the government keep spending as if there’s no tomorrow, ignoring the mounting risks of debt and inflation?

Devastating critique of the Chancellor's Spending Review from our own Emmanuel Igwe - the very ability to govern is being swallowed up by the debt morass.

Sadly the same goes for Defence, as we warned. Govt seems unfortunately ideologically unable to withdraw from negotiations, even when it is clearly in the national interest to do so.

This takes the wrong lessons from Denmark. Assimilation and integration are only possible with very low numbers of immigrants. Dispersing new arrivals around the country will be just like dispersing illegal immigrants in hotels and HMOs, totally against local wishes.

An important article. 4GD are a world leader in AI powered infantry training. They will bring jobs to Britain and make our military a more effective fighting force 🔫 But... They can't open a bank account.

A disaster for the executive. State largesse and the councillorification of MPs has made the Commons one of the biggest obstacles to serious reform. Future governments take note.

Great to hear Andrew Griffith MP pledge to take a chainsaw to the Government’s disastrous Employment Rights Bill this morning. As well as suggest the quietly radical but entirely feasible full automation of the tube 🚇🚀

Anglo-French migration deals are beginning to feel like a yearly tradition, the purpose of which has been lost to the mists of time. Until we resolve the actual issue, our absurdly permissive human rights regime, we will struggle to control our borders.

Yesterday, Parliament said citizenship deprivations should be effective throughout appeal. HOW this happened is even more important: 1. Parliament made a law 2. The Supreme Court interpreted it 3. Parliament disagreed, and updated the law This is how our system should work!
