There is very little I like about my longer commute now Cub goes to school 4 miles away from where he did. The one good thing is that I’m now relistening to the amazing John Walker, Sounds-Write podcasts again and yearning to be back teaching a ssp that makes sense.

This whole dysfunctional education system has me thinking. I see so many tweets saying how bad an experience has been but then no school name so we sleep walk our SEND children into the same situation. Why are the schools never named?

I couldn’t attend my #npqll assessment clinic as had an exclusion meeting for my son and the guidance in the catch up video is less than helpful as it only unpicks question 2. How can a 10 minute video be equal to a 2 hour clinic?

So Cub goes to Cubs at the school he was PEx from and do you know what? He took some cans in to Cubs yesterday evening to add to the school’s harvest collection. “You don’t have to, Cub. You could give them to your school.” “No, mama, I want to help.” They never deserved him.
