When you peel back any of these awful situations, you always find “good” people that kept their head down and said/did nothing. Thank you to my former colleagues that DON’T stay quiet and do the right thing, every day, in their own offices and fight to push back the tide.

And, more broadly, leaders are - and should - be judged by the people they in turn entrust the people’s business with.

In no universe is any state Governor showing up to lunch with a lobbyist, with staff in tow, without having had a prep session and a clear idea of what they want to get out of the meeting. Take your pick, unethical or incompetent. Another week….. another tough look.

The silence is deafening. I don’t want to see another photo-op on the trail. I want to hear from you LG about what happened, why it happened and what you’re doing about it. Far too many leaders are failing Rhode Islanders with a complete lack of accountability. More of the same..

I’m furious that we can’t focus on real issues and real Rhode Islanders because we can’t get out of our own way with the absolute nonsense that flows out of the State House and continues to embarrass us nationally. We expect more….. a lot more

A lot of questions that Matos still did not answer. The biggest one is how can voters trust her to make tough, split-second decisions in Congress if it took five days to answer questions about petition signatures.

While not surprising, still extremely disappointing to see this hot take from folks that claim to want to be taken seriously. Unequivocally supporting any one person, without any critical thinking or accountability, has always made the world a worse place.
