Our KCCI family lost an icon. News producer John Hoyem died suddenly. I worked with John for three decades. He loved the Cyclones. He hated vegetables. John’s news judgment was legendary. So was his sense of humor. That’s why we laughed and cried in the newsroom today. RIP
