What an amazing experience competing alongside so many of my dear friends! 🔥 We took third in the ILMSA State Competition yesterday! I count every sore part of my body as a blessing and a reminder of this incredible swimming community that I have the privilege do life with!🏊‍♂️

I am thrilled to be entering Northwestern University’s PhD in Music Education Program!!! 🙌🎵 My research focus will be music and well-being. ❤️😃 This PhD program is full-time for 5 years, so I will be stepping down from my teaching position at Senn Arts after 9 rich years. 🥺

On the surprise phone call of my life, the Chicago Cubs just invited me to throw the FIRST PITCH for Teacher Appreciation Night on May 5th in recognition of being a Golden Apple Finalist!!! 🤯🔥⚾️🧢 I am absolutely humbled and honored by this opportunity! Pic throwback to 2019!
