The Cloth Brush is intended to be used with Multires to control the size of the folds (available in Blender 2.90). You can simulate the base mesh with collisions and add details where you need them in higher subdivision levels. #b3d #devfund

Sculpt Mode now works much better when working with multiple objects. Now you can switch objects directly without leaving Sculpt Mode, there is an overlay that fades inactive objects and symmetry options change automatically after switching #b3d #devfund developer.blender.org/T80402

I'm going to start working on a full redesign of how Sculpt Mode works which hopefully should fix most of the performance issues and make Blender usable for high poly sculpting. Some results of a prototype using a i7 9750H laptop, before and after: #b3d #devfund

You can now use the Cloth Brush with high poly meshes as a regular brush without being constrained to a fixed simulation area. The brush only simulates the required vertices and then blends the deformation with the rest of the mesh. #b3d #devfund developer.blender.org/D8726

The Displacement Smear brush can also be used to create hard surfaces details in Multires without sliding or pinching the topology. #b3d #devfund

Monumental stone sculpture carved out of French limestone for the exhibition ‘Breakthrough’ in Antwerp. Originally 3 tons of stone, brought down to 1.5ton The surface of the sculpture I carved almost entirely with the tooth chisel which leaves a very open and raw texture.

'Blast' The sculpture of the Dragonslayer represents man's spiritual breakthrough. Facing his demons takes courage; defeating them takes strength. But the battle is essential to fulfil his purpose in life. 75cm in height carved from limestone

Hi, I'm a bit stuck with OpenMaya API and callbacks. With the MDGMessage.addNodeRemovedCallback() The default nodeType is "dependNode". My problem is that it works with "mesh" but not with light. Anyone know what type should be used for any "DAG" in the scene? Cheers!

Hi, Just curious what do you guys use as a basic free/commercial face rig to pose your characters ? something that you can reuse without all the hassle of redoing all the skin/blendshapes/clusters/etc Cheers

Hi, Found some time to hopefully improve this one and thought I'd go for a short haircut (WIP) which is easier to manage. Cheers, Jacques
