DEAR POPS: My ex-husband and I are still on speaking terms. What’s an appropriate birthday gift for me to give him?

POPS SAYS: A birthday gift for your ex-husband? Oh, I don’t know. If you still like him, then try to kiss and make up.

DEAR POPS: I find myself falling asleep a lot at work. What can I do to stay awake?

POPS SAYS: What am I, a doctor? Work harder so you don’t have time to fall asleep. Or else, get more sleep at night. You need eight hours.

DEAR POPS: Would it be bad if I borrowed money from my grandma, and then “conveniently” forgot to pay her back?

POPS SAYS: That’s bad! You shouldn’t even think of those things. You borrow, you pay it back. With interest! Honesty is the best policy.

DEAR POPS: I’m a big Miley Cyrus fan. Do you think there is a city called Hannah, Montana?

POPS SAYS: Oh, I don’t know. What kind of question is that? Should I go to Montana to find out? I’ve never been out there.

DEAR POPS: My girlfriend constantly checks her horoscope for advice on everything! Is she crazy?

POPS SAYS: Yes. It’s a joke. I don’t believe in that stuff. Don’t worry. She’ll find out eventually.

DEAR POPS: I mocked my boss in the office and he found out about it. Now, I think I’m in trouble. Should I apologize?

POPS SAYS: You gotta apologize. Why would you make fun of your boss, anyway? Don’t you know there’s always some big mouth who’ll tell him?

DEAR POPS: I love to sing karaoke. And I’m good! It’s been my life for more than 10 years. Do you think I can make money doing it?

POPS SAYS: I don’t know nothing about it. But to make money, someone has to ask you to sing. If you volunteer, you won't make any money.

DEAR POPS: I’m 23 and ready to buy my first new car. Do fancy cars impress girls?

POPS SAYS: That shouldn’t impress anybody. Big deal.
