The committee resumed a hearing on HB 464, a reading intervention bill that MSBA opposes because it restricts teachers from making professional decisions to meet the needs of individual students.

Governor Parson will sign an Executive Order tomorrow morning at Blair Oaks High School creating a task force charged with developing a statewide strategic plan for school safety. Center for Ed Safety will be part of the task force.
