In at least one Peking genotype, there is a unknown rj2 nodulation allele gene on chr16 (duplication). peking is also a mutant for a certain ku protein, bak1, and rj4. There are also at least 7 « peking » in GRIN, and considering older names like « sable », over 10 accessions.
