Defeat for the 1st team yesterday vs Braughing CC. After setting only 206, braughing hit the winning runs with 2 balls to spare, with 6 wickets down. Skipper Adam Sydes, playing his 300th league game, topped scored with 39, whilst Sean Pack was the pick of the bowlers

The 2s got back to winning ways with a victory away at Hoddesdon CC. Subin topped scored with 58* setting a target of 205, with hoddesdon coming up just 7 runs short. Well played all

The 2s set 231-9 with 89 from Subin Poulose, 31 from Stort Biltong's Toby Dellow and 29* from Alex Steadman. Wickets shared around in the 2nd innings to bowl Stansted Hall & Elsenham Cricket Club for 200. Top work!!

Double win week!! 1s travelled to Bishop’s Stortford Cricket Club and set 263-5, largely thanks to Adam Cooper 90 not out, and a swashbuckling 36 off 14 balls from Jack Lamb. Also 38 from stand in skipper George Sydes. Bowled BSCC out for 145, 4 wickets a piece for Sean Pack and Owen Waters!

A brilliant fixture today away Reed (C)C, despite a defeat for us. We didn't manage to chase down 201, falling 19 short. More runs again for Adam Cooper, 86 today. Massive thanks to Reed for filling the fixture at short notice, hope to see you next season, perfect hosts!

Absolute runfest away against Stansted CC for the 1s today. We scored 288-3, with Jamie Blackwell breaking the Thorley league record, smashing 164* off 124 deliveries. A win by just 9 runs after Stansted scored 279-8. 4 wickets for Adam Cooper, and tight spell from Tom Pickles!

The Stort Biltong man of the match has to go to Jamie Blackwell for his 164* off 124 with a mad 25 4s and 5 6s breaking the club league record from legend Bob Mills. A superb knock!
