The UK Government has announced it will finally unfreeze housing benefit. The three year freeze on housing benefit has had devastating consequences. Thankfully this will prevent and end the homelessness of tens of thousands of people.

Government statutory homelessness figures, show almost 139,000 children are homeless in temporary accommodation- another record high figure and up 14% on the previous year.
