UCT's online high school reeks of disaster capitalism that masquerades as innovation. What kind of a country cooks up ideas like that? This question is rhetorical because we know what kind of a country we live in.

How aloof must you be (drunk in your middle-class stupor even) to say things like "Learn without interruption: forget about pandemics or morning traffic" (one of the high school's 'values' which can be seen on their website)

and have that embedded in your (simulated) institutional culture?

During FeesMustFall white civil society was so inconvenienced by us, the ungrateful Blacks, to a point where the rhetoric of "Learn[ing] without interruption" was concretized into a fund to build a private university (we must always know that not only white desires and pleasures

but white fears have the capacity to be transformed into institutions or law). This is how they deal with a crisis. Their solutions always have nothing to do with us.
