I just learned about <datalist> which can be connected to inputs to offer suggestions or ticks on range inputs. Sadly browser support is poor and inconsistent from one to another. Kinda neat though - I hope this improves soon!

Now that all modern browsers support SVG favicons, here's how to turn any emoji into a favicon.svg: <svg xmlns="w3.org/2000/svg" viewBox="0 0 100 100"> <text y=".9em" font-size="90">💩</text> </svg> Useful for quick apps when you can't be bothered to design a favicon!

Just found out about npkill.js.org, a small package to wipe your node_modules in various folders (you know, those side projects you just work one evening on). Apparently got more disk space than expected, thanks! Nice one Nya and JŪ∆ΠĮM∆Π¶¶ ‍!

If you play 'In The Air Tonight’ by Phil Collins on December 31st at 11:56:40 the drum break will play right as the clock strikes midnight. Start off your new year right.

Why Falcon Heavy & Starman? Life cannot just be about solving one sad problem after another. There need to be things that inspire you, that make you glad to wake up in the morning and be part of humanity. That is why we did it. We did for you. m.youtube.com/watch?feature=…

Turns out joking about being a “rock” star because of digging tunnels (through, uh, rock — hello??) is deeply underappreciated

🔥 JavaScript tip You do console.log in any place of the code WITHOUT code modification. With Chrome DevTools you can create "conditional breakpoint". If you add console.log into the condition, the debugger will not pause, because console.log returns undefined.

🔥 Don't be afraid to "think outside the database" — your UI doesn't need to map one-to-one with your data's fields and values. Here are a few ideas you can use to present "field: value" data in a more interesting way:
