Derry City U17s bowed out of the Mark Farren Cup on Tuesday night. Aidan Gabbidon, Corey Lavery, David Jonathan and Alan Hegarty found the net for Sligo in a 4-0 win.

Derry City striker Sean Patton attended the ROI U19’s Training Camp at Abbotstown this week. The 17-year-old has been one of the standout performers in the LOI Academy this year. In 15 games this season, he has helped himself to 13 goals. Well done, Sean! 👏

Well done to Callum McCay, 17, on making his competitive first team debut for Derry City in tonight's 5-0 win over UCD. Callum has also made history by becoming the first player from the club’s U13 squad to work his way up through the academy and play for the first team. 👏

Derry City U19s recorded an excellent 8-1 win over Bray Wanderers this afternoon. Cian Kavanagh (3), Tiernan McGinty (3), Jordan McEneff and Caoimhan McDermott scored the goals.

LOI Academy This weekend’s results: ⚽ U14s played out a scoreless draw with Finn Harps. ⚽ Reece Schmid bagged a hat-trick for the U15s. ⚽ Michael Rafferty netted a consolation goal for the U17s in a defeat to Shels. ⚽Tiernan McGinty scored his 5th goal in 4 games for the 19s.

On Tuesday, ex-Derry City teammates Trent-Kone Doherty & Jack Doherty found themselves on opposing sides in the 3rd Rd of the FA Youth Cup. In a tightly contested game,Liverpool clinched a 2-1 win against Fleetwood. It’s great to see the lads doing well & enjoying the experience.
