Today this team worked on our indoor plants! We repotted those outgrowing their pots and planted out some babies! We gifted some to Miss Manton and Mr Morrison to spruce up their offices and destroyed The Burrow in the process 😂 Hoovering was very much required! 🌱Denbeath PS

One of our groups is exploring different ways to manage anxiety. We discovered that some people find painting stones to be a soothing mindfulness project. We explored different designs online today and are heading on a stone gathering expeditions soon! ❤️

This afternoon some learners came up with an incredible school improvement idea, made plans, fundraising suggestion and wrote to Miss Manton for permission! We got the green light!! 🌱🌱🌱

Our Outdoor Learning Group are very proud of the work they have done so far and have big plans to extend it further. Today they created powerpoints to share at assembly with a plea for learners to avoid standing on our planters to help keep our playground growing🌱🌼

A massive thank you from our learning through football group Denbeath PS to ballsandboots who kindly donated boots to the children. They were buzzing and really grateful for them.

Yesterday our groups were joined by the lovely Gina from Social Enterprise Academy Scotland who helped us focus our ideas and make plans to make Denbeath PS and the world a better place!! ❤️❤️❤️

Reading survey responses from learners, staff and families about our work in The Burrow has had Mrs R and Miss T in tears more than once this week already! One learner told us: “The Burrow is perfect”. Perfectly imperfect, I’d say - but we are trying our best! ❤️ Denbeath PS

Mornings in The Burrow are great. We make sure breakfast is available for anyone who needs it. We welcome staff in need of a coffee and a blether. Magic.❤️

Our group learn ways to calm and manage our anxiety. Today we took our efforts to the beach. We collected stones to paint with motivational words and also got absolutely soaked. This scene is a perfect example of “some days you just have to make your own sunshine!” ☀️☀️☀️🌊🌊

Our Fife Young Carers beauties have popped along to Denbeath PS to meet our families and spread awareness of the awesome work they do with our young people! 💚

Today our Fife Young Carers got together for a wee play, snack and chat about what we’d like to do during our weekly meeting! We have some ideas for the future! Our FYC like to get together in school and be with their supportive peers who “get it”💚
