concept > everything so many videos pop off just because they have a great idea you don't necessarily need amazing quality to succeed

#1 rule of being a creator: BE UNIQUE so much of youtube feels copy-pasted nowadays viewers crave something DIFFERENT. show them something they've never seen before

Creator Grind (@thecreatorgrind) 's Twitter Profile Photo

authenticity is something YouTube NEEDS rn in a space where so many videos feel over-produced and fake, you need to be the one who feels real audiences are built around people; not algorithm robots

Creator Grind (@thecreatorgrind) 's Twitter Profile Photo

find a group of creators to grow with. having multiple people to go to for advice or to learn from is SUPER helpful when growing your channel if one person makes a mistake, you can all learn and grow from it

"the algorithm" isn't what you should be worrying about. the audience is what really matters; find out what you're niche is into and make your content appeal to them make videos for PEOPLE, not for YouTube.

looking at other niches can be super helpful in improving your content you can adapt ideas, get thumbnail concepts, and overall learn a lot of stuff just by looking at videos from other sections of YouTube don't be afraid to exit your clique; try branching out to other areas

make sure your videos FEEL unique use different music, different editing styles, different humor giving the viewer a unique experience can convince them to keep coming back to your channel, as opposed to watching one video and leaving

keep yourself accountable! ask your friends to check in on the progress you've made today set yourself goals on what you need to complete make sure you're putting in the effort, and eventually, you will see success 💸💸💸

if you haven't already, try making the thumbnail BEFORE you start working on the video it's a good way of guiding your planning process, as you'll know exactly what the viewer expects to see when clicking on your video try it out, might make your life easier

there are so many YouTube "gurus" out there that it can be hard to know who to trust make sure you're using common sense before taking any of these people's advice a lot of them are just trying to get you to buy their course 😔

don't judge a video by it's first day performance this video here gained 700 views in it's first day, stats were horrible fast forward two months, and it was at just over 100k

the most engaging part of any story is when you're just about to succeed or lose everything try to prolong that as much as possible
