Clemar Bucci, born #OnThisDay in 1920, started 5 #F1 GPs in ’54 & ’55. He then became a car designer, & his late-in-life ambition was to create an Argentine supercar, the Bucci Special. He died in 2011, aged 90, so he never saw its unveiling at the 2013 Buenos Aires Motor Show.

The #ItalianGP has been held #OnThisDay (5 September) thrice - ’48 (a grande épreuve at Valentino Park, Turin), ’54 (Monza) & ’71 (Monza) - the most recent of those 3 won by a hair’s breadth by Peter Gethin (BRM) at a then record 150.754mph (242.615km/h).
