Resident retreat this year featured the incredible Jamie Coleman, MD FACS! She shared evidence based suggestions on sleep strategies (not after 3pm) and wellness in residency and beyond. UofL Dept of Surgery is lucky to have her.

Residents and staff had a great wellness event last night volunteering with feeding South Dakota Feeding America. We also go a chance to recognize a milestone birthday. Happy birthday to our beloved APD, wellness committee chair, and extraordinary pediatric surgeon Dr. Ryckman!
