Taiwanese is not Mandarin spoken in Taiwan. It’s another language. Similar to Hokkien spoken in China, but it’s not good to call it Hokkien because it’s TAIWANESE. (Just like you wouldn’t call Laos language, Thai language just because laos is very similar to Thai).

อูคูเล่เล่ (oo koo lây-lây) = Ukulele I bought my second ukulele from an ukulele shop in Taiwan! It sounds so amazing! It looks amazing! I love it. It’s soprano size meaning its super small and really perfect for me since I like traveling! Haha yeaa yoopie

ธรรมชาติ (tam-má-châat) = Nature I’m in Taiwan, jiufen area and I absolutely love it! I love the tam-má-châat here. I like walking around aimlessly trying to discover new paths. If you are visiting Taiwan, don’t just stay in Taipei. I recommend Jiufen!

หมา (mǎa) = Dog I love dogs more and more everyday I used to hate dogs because I got bitten 3 times from 3 different stray dogs and had to get rabies shot Either Thai government is doing better job with stray dogs or bc i drive more now, that’s why I don’t get bitten anymore

โรงเรียน (rohng riian) = school I visited a school in oomgoi (a town in Chiangmai) to talk to grade 4-6 students about the importance of learning languages. It was so fun. After the talk they brought me to walk around the town. Hope to come back again soon.
