Had a wonderful time at 12th World Biomaterials Congress (WBC 2024)! So nice to reconnect with old friends, meet new folks, and hear about exciting science. Especially great to hear talks by The Desai Lab @ UCSF members Justin Zhong 钟翔宇 and Preethi Raghavan Now for some vacation before Bioinspired GRC in Switzerland!
What a nice surprise when I walked into lab meeting today! And a warm welcome to our The Leadership Alliance #SREIP undergrads!
A fantastic exit talk by Darnell Cuylear who completed the PhD portion of his DDS/PhD UC San Francisco Graduate Division UCSF Dentistry. Darnell brought together a unique combination of materials science, bone biology, in vivo orthodontic relapse models, and more. Keep an eye on this rising star!
