Just devastated by the death of UT columnist Bryce Miller. Fine writer terrific person. Gone at 56. What a loss for journalism and our community. Told me an experimental cancer drug had given him hope but ultimately couldn’t save him. I miss him already.

The ambassador had 41 #padres seasons including the 4-0 start in ‘84. No one had 6-0 until tonight. Against 2 playoff teams! King was fabulous Cease goes tomorrow. How bout them boys?!

Just thinking that after last week and ‘21 & ‘22 playoffs whenever Dodgers players or fans say their biggest rivalry is still with the Giants just smile and slowly shake your head. It’s not. It’s Dodgers-Padres and it ain’t even arguable!
