#PRG4 #lubricin AlphaLISA from Revvity for Life Sciences! We developed it with Lubris BioPharma #rhPRG4, showed PRG4 down in Sjogrens tears, now great to have a kit made/optimized by Revvity CustomTeams. LLOQ ~5ng/ml, only 5ul of sample. Great for serum, tears, saliva - and we’ll see what else!

Thanks for coming out to Honest Alan Grodzinsky's Continuum Dinner. We missed our fearless leader this year, but I think we did him proud!

Thomas Manzoni and Elizabeth Davis’ (Kandel lab) new paper with Tannin Schmidt and others not on x: passaged superficial and deep zone cells retain memory. Implications for bioengineering zonified tissues . Such a pleasure to work with everyone on this! udel.edu/0011756

Proud of the #PRG4 #lubricin manufacturing progress made working with Lubris BioPharma & Avid Bioservices the past 2+ years = a 500L GMP run. Eye drop bottles now filled as we push towards the clinic and 2 GRAMS (!) of #rhPRG4 leftover for future preclinical research the next 5+ years.

Excited to share Lubris BioPharma’s full length recombinant human #PRG4 (#rhPRG4) / #lubricin drug product is released for an upcoming #dryeye clinical study in Australia. Packing and labelling is complete, and we’re ready for distribution upon ethics committee approval. Stay tuned!

Huge congratulations to CORE director Lyndon Jones for being recognized by the American Academy Of Optometry with the Carel C. Koch award for his outstanding contributions to the enhancement and development of relationships between optometry and other professions! Congrats Lyndon!

So excited for this amazing lineup of speakers for the SFBiomaterials Northeast Regional Symposium Northeastern U.! 🤩 Today is the last day to register at the discounted price 👀Many thanks to co-chairs Ambika Bajpayee @ANKoppes & our organizing committee! See y’all in Boston 👋

New PRG4 paper on aging! The molecule that never ceases to surprise: Serum PRG4 down with age. Deficiency results in decreased survival in mice and accelerated skeletal aging in M mice. Great work by former PhD student Adam Tanguay and awesome collaborators. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40537697/
