I have a (potentially weird) test to see if a KPI/Goal is a good one, I call it "the evil product manager test": Assuming I'm an evil PM, what would I do to achieve this KPI/Goal? This flashes out if it's easy to hack this goal, or to do bad things to the users to achieve it.
