Many people don’t know how to (actually) apologize to someone. Here’s how (🧵):

one of the most important realizations i had was that no matter how much i loved them, i had to face the reality that they weren’t going to wake up one day and magically meet my needs. there were fewer moments of them meeting my needs than meeting them. i had to accept that.

Ya’ll take advantage of people who genuinely love you and you come on here and act like victims when they are gone. You are REPLACEABLE behave and act right. Stop with the motivational BS.

I hope you end up with someone who listens to you when you vent out, who doesn't rush to speak when you're speaking, who apologises when you tell them they have hurt you instead of gaslighting you.

Who cares more about finding solutions to your problems instead of winning the argument, who doesn't judge you and tell you that you're being dramatic or sensitive when you vent out. I hope you end up with someone who is humble enough to allow you to express yourself.
