Murph on starting Trevor Megill: "The pitching guys, myself, Matt Arnold, we just sat in a room and talked about the possibilities. We considered a ton of factors. We settled on Megill, he was going to pitch tonight regardless. "'The power of friendship.' He started it all."

I may be sidelined, but I am not defeated. This injury is my greatest test—a moment God allowed to strengthen my testimony. I believe He walks with me through this storm and chose me for this fight because He knew my heart could carry it. I’m deeply grateful to the Packers

Today in 1934: Bart Starr is born in Montgomery, AL. In his 16 seasons as a player, Starr guided the Packers to five NFL titles and wins in Super Bowls I and II. The Alabama Football alum led the NFL in passing thrice, earned four Pro Bowl nods, and was named the AP's MVP in 1966.

January 26, 1997. A day many thought would never happen again as the Packers won the Super Bowl. Crazy it’s been 29 years & this came 29 years after their previous win in SB 2. Favorite photo? Reggie with the Lombardi at Return to Titletown. Still can’t believe he’s gone #Packers

On this day back in 2011… The Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl XLV, defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-25. 🏆 Their 13th NFL Championship, which is the most in professional football history. #GoPackGo

From 15 years ago tonight, the Green Bay Press-Gazette extra after the #Packers won Super Bowl XLV. At 10:45 p.m., I went up to the roof of the Press-Gazette building to take in the scene. Church bells ringing, green and gold fireworks being shot off, car horns honking, people cheering.
