This is a prime example of the innovative work we do across our BostonPublicSchools campuses to provide each child with a rigorous academic education inside our classrooms and opportunities to learn and develop outside of class that provide a springboard for their future success.

The budget states our values. We have a unique opportunity to put our students 1st by looking at the actual needs in schools across the district, with a particular focus on our Black & Brown students, special education, & multilingual learners with & without disabilities.

Throwback! President Barack Obama visited TechBoston Academy 13 years ago when Superintendent Mary Skipper was Head of School. The president shined a light on the opportunities afforded to BPS students (1/4):

This $21 million project is a direct investment into our students, educators, staff and the East Boston community to make the PJK a safer, more-accessible school that provides the high-quality student experience that we envision for every child in Boston.
