Elleni Hailu is a Stanford Propel Scholar at Stanford Medicine. With a PhD in Epidemiology and #MPH in Epidemiology/Biostatistics from UC Berkeley, her work focuses on how structural racism and its manifestations shape racial health inequities.
Dr. Samsuk Kim is a NIDA T32 #PostdocFellow in the Pain Division at Stanford Medicine. With a PhD in Clinical Psychology from University of Detroit Mercy her research focuses on developing effective treatments to improve sleep in the context of chronic pain.
Dr. Frances Cho is a #postdoc in Neurobiology after obtaining her PhD from UC San Francisco. Her research uses large-scale, multi-region electrophysiological recordings in rodents to dissect how the neural substrates of spatial learning and memory are shaped by distinct thalamic pathways.
Christopher Miranda is a Stanford Medicine #Postdoc where his research has earned him the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute Interdisciplinary Postdoctoral Scholar Award. His research focuses on advancing next-gen microscopes for tracking of neural activity in mice.
Dr. Emmanuel Nsamba is a #StanfordPrism Postdoctoral Scholar in Dev Bio @ Stanford. Dr. Nsamba conducts research investigating microtubule-based mechanisms that are critical for faithful chromosome segregation during meiosis.
Yiyu Wang is currently a T32 postdoctoral researcher Stanford Medicine. She completed her PhD in psychology at Northeastern U. where she studied neural predictors of subjective experiences of emotion using a combination of fMRI, experimental psychology, and deep learning methods.
