Another superb day of work by the volunteers, after a morning litter pick we set-to removing the BBQ stands from Foremark in preparation for the No BBQ Policy which comes into effect on Monday 4th June.

Please be aware as from the 4th June bbqs and any form of open fires will not be allowed at Foremark Reservoir. This decision has been taken due to impact that bbqs are having on the environment.

Please remember that if you are visiting Foremark this weekend leave your BBQ at home. We not longer permit Open fires or BBQs of any kind.

Did you know Foremark's beautiful woodland hides the Wildlife Trust's Calvers Rocks nature reserve? Chiff chaffs could be heard today amongst the multitude of birds singing during a wondrous woodland walk.

Phew! It's a scorcher! If you're visiting our reservoirs today please don't be tempted to take a dip. The water may look inviting but there are dangerous currents and unseen hazards below the surface. Stay safe and stay out of the water.
