The reality: More British (and settled residents) will see their human rights be denied using arguments that are patently false: joining partners DO NOT HAVE access to public funds. It is infuriating that Ministers can continue to use this false argument . We deserve better.

We are grateful to Alison Thewliss for raising the MIR increase in Parliament. It is extremely infuriating to see Ministers dismissing the plight of the families we represent and mentioning once again a nearly impossible "exceptional circumstances" route. We deserve better.
