I trained as an Occupational Therapist and we were only given the bursary in year 3 - we were in the throes of the pandemic and our training switched to online. We still had to pay for the training. I'm now almost £60,000 in debt and getting approximately £13 per hour. Laughable!

Xmas fills me with dread and anxiety - I'd much rather sleep through the lot of it. The forced happiness and expectation to buy gifts when you have very limited funds is excruciating. My anxiety gets worse each year and I'm filled with feelings of inadequacy. Merry Xmas folks!

Awful example of what happens to rotating drs when permanent staff don't support them/ are actively cruel. Non-rotating health workers: please challenge toxic behaviour in your departments. Culture is everyone's responsibility. NB OP overwhelmed by response so username removed.
