The crew killed it the past few days for aerification. One time over on greens with a 3/4 solid tine, a lot of rolling, and 50+ tons of sand, greens look great!! We should see a shorter recovery period than in years past. The greens will get their first mow this weekend.

Looks like the Pylex is starting to do it job on the goose grass. The bleached grass is only a side effect of the herbicide. The Bermuda will recover in due time. Greens continue to recover well 2x/2x mow and roll today.

Fall Member Guest gets underway this afternoon!! We couldn’t have picked a better week to have it. Golf course looks great! Mowing out all short grass raking bunkers with a 2x/2x mow and roll.

There is something about this view that never gets old. 1x roll on greens this morning. Raking bunkers and mowing fairways as well.

Continuing with bunker R/M on #5 fairway today. Blowing off greens, irrigation repair throughout the course, and drainage work on #12 fairway.

Irrigation repairs today consists of swing joint replacement on holes 5,9, and 14. We are working to unclog a drain line on #12 fairway as well we are looking into adding drainage to fairways on #6 and #18.

Taking advantage of the dry conditions to mow what fairways we can. Starting today we will be using our old cart traffic system. Open posts are 90 Degree Rule; Closed posts are Cary Path Only. It is a beautiful day for a round of golf.

Covers are coming off this morning. We should be in good shape for our 11am shotgun. The crew is also working hard to finish up the new drainage on 18 fairway. In order to do this we will place tee markers in the fairway to play it as a par 4.
