For me it’s Paredes or standing pat with Campbell getting most of the reps at 2B in ST. His upside and him coming into his own would make this a lot easier.

I don’t hate this because it doesn’t preclude the Red Sox from going all in on their young core in handing the second base job to Kristian Campbell if he’s ready. Mayer is your every day 3B. Second is a competition.

Red Sox will be vindicated for keeping Yoshi who will have a career year this season.

Marcel listed Hill and Daniels as being cut with “immediate effect” which seems to indicate they are immediate cuts and not post June 1. He didn’t do that here on Chubb which indicates he is in fact a post June 1 cut
