First state champion of the day from Greene County is Faith Brown of BCreek Athletics . She wins the girls 300m hurdles in 41 flat, setting a new record for the meet being held at Jesse Owens Stadium.

The new OHSAA format would have kept Beavercreek from its first playoff appearance last season. Cedarville wouldn’t have been in either.
