Today UNIQLO opened its first store in RI -- and launched a new partnership with us. Through the RE.UNIQLO program, the store is donating gently used clothing to RIers experiencing homelessness. We are grateful to UNIQLO for their collaboration and their kindness!

Today the Providence Journal shared info on key housing developments OK'd for financing at RIHousing’s board meeting last week. $102M in funding will result in over 1,000 units of housing -- with most of the units produced & preserved as affordable housing. See link below:

Excited to share new data on housing progress! As of April, 515 new housing units were permitted in RI—a 30% increase from 2023 and 42% from 2022. If this trend continues, we're on pace for 1,545 new units this year! Continued efforts are needed to sustain and grow this progress.
