A fairly good debut from Nas yesterday against Hatfield Heath, scoring 211* to help create a 334 total. Moved into Stansted on Tuesday, broke the club record on Saturday. Impressive. Followed by some very good bowling from the team. A very good day.

Well that’s another Season finished, some good results, some not so good, but I don’t remember anyone saying they didn’t enjoy the day, apart from Ben Baker at N Weald hobbling off with an Old Man Injury a day after turning 30. Bring on 2024

Congratulations to our Junior Coach Matt Cope who was nominated for Coach of the Year. After being short listed, Matt attended the awards ceremony today at the Essex County Ground where it was announced that Stansted Cricket Club's Matt Cope is this year's Coach of the year

Well done to our very own Ben Baker on his award. Very well deserved and comes as no surprise to us. Brilliant every year.
