Food insecurity on college campuses across the nation is a prevalent problem. It has been estimated that 12% of students at college campuses are food insecure. As a college student myself I find this statistic quite alarming.

It’s crazy to think that 1 out of every 8 students is impacted by food insecurity. This essentially means that I have a fellow peer or friend who is struggling with this problem and not even realize it.
