A student sent me a virtual hug for me tonight, saying she would be there for me if I needed anything in a wake of the senseless killings in GA. She reminded me the power of deep care and love for each other that can make us better. I have the best job, ever. Southridge High
2 things made my heart happier: our link crew leaders (class of 2021!) came in to the building to get ready for our freshmen orientation day. Then I got to hear our amazing choir students share their talent at the outdoor concert. Our students keep me centered! Southridge High
Our amazing performing arts department teachers’ hard work paid off - the students performed so beautifully that my heart was cleansed 2 nights in a row! Thank you Southridge Choirs Southridge Theatre and SRHS band - you make me proud to be a Skyhawk. Hawk Talk
After a challenging year, receiving a love message like this from a student reminds me why we, educators, do what we do every day, no matter how hard things may be. I am grateful for this amazing opportunity to serve Southridge High
Thank you Southridge High choirs for filling my cup tonight. Your heartfelt performance of songs from around the world truly exemplified what it means to be IB scholars. I am so lucky to get to do my job!
Kudos to our band program! Jazz band, concert band, symphonic band and wind ensemble warmed up my heart this evening. We had a student conducting for the first time; she wants to be a band teacher! Southridge High
A gorgeous night for our very first home @srhshawks_bb game, JV softball game, and Powder Buff 💪🏽 game! Thank you pep band for cheering on! The class of 2023 Powder Buff team will represent Southridge High at the annual south side cup. Watch out, Mountainside HS 😊
AVID class of 2023! I came to Southridge High when these scholars were freshmen. Their high school journey hasn’t been easy with the global pandemic but they not only survived but thrived! They are ready to sore, and I am so proud of you!
