PLAYERS: Basketball is NOT an equal opportunity sport. Better shooters will almost always get more shots. Better ball handlers will have the ball more often. Better decision makers will be in at the end of the game along with better FT shooters. If you want to be better, earn it.

Feel terrible for kids. Our government has failed at every single level. Plenty of states have played fall and winter sports. Should have never cancelled the fall season, then could have taken a break from November to February when cases rose, then started winter sports later.

@GovSisolak letting kids have moments like this is one of the many reasons sports matter. Football, Basketball and Wrestling are done safely all over the United States please allow our kids in Nevada the opportunity to feel the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.

News : NFHS eliminates the tiered Youth Sports recommendation this morning. “proven cases of direct COVID-19 transmission during athletics remain relatively rare” .This guidance is why California tied sports to the tiers. That recommendation has been eliminated .
