I am shattered to have to announce that my beloved elder son Nick died a few hours ago in Basingstoke Hospital. His whole family is gathered together and we are all totally bereft. -ALW

Heartbroken to hear abt the passing of Nick Lloyd Webber, who I first met in Scotland in Dec2011 when he produced Speyside Sessions w/ Jamie Reid. A huge talent, he will be deeply missed as both an artist and a human. Sending my deepest sympathies & love to his family and friends

Heartbroken 💔 over #NickLloydWebber's passing. Nick was a good friend & business partner of Kevin's childhood friend Jamie Reid. They produced the @speysidesession charity album put out in support of @savethechildren by @therealkmckidd & friends in 2012. Nick will be missed. ❤
