Type the text. Read over it for a hour. Second guess myself. Be brave. The worst thing she can say is no. Push the send button. What if she says no? Rejection isn’t fun but I’ll at least know where I stand. Regret is worse because of the “what ifs.” I sent it, now I wait. 🤞

One of the best ways to fill your bucket in the morning is with a greeting from the Brentwood Elementary Kindness Squad! This club of fourth and fifth grade students was formed this year to spread kindness around the community, including these Friday morning welcomes. #D59Cares

This is what adulting during a Christmas break looks like. Using YouTube videos, I figured out how to remove the upper rack of my dishwasher, remove the warped conduit arm, and install a new one. #winning #AdultingAndStuff #ididitallbymyself

I had never heard of the “washing machine” move with a parachute until our PE professional development last week. Half the kids were able to be in it and when we play in the future, the other half will get their turn! The giggles are always the best. Lubbock ISD Honey Elementary

Here’s a little trick that helped one of our jump rope beginners. She was worried about hitting herself when she turned the rope so she practiced “catch the cone” first. By the end of class she was able to master one jump! 👏😊 #PCPE SDNB Poplar Creek

"Slam Ball" always a hit!💪 1v1, 1v2, or 1v3. Strategies galore in this activity, similar to 4 square & @spikeball. If thrower hits hoop or outside of hoop, other S gets point. If thrown & other S drops it, thrower gets point. Thrower's hand/body can't cross over ⭕. #physed

As another club 🏐 season starts, I needed to reflect on and share with my athletes what I just heard. It’s still ringing in my ears. I have no clue why I was watching the halftime of ECU vs Cincinnati. I don’t follow either team. But, I needed to hear this, I needed to see it.

So many uses for pool noodles! 😀Love this simple warm up/lead up to jump rope. Helps Ss focus on the timing of the jump. Grand Prairie Elementary Frankfort School District 157-C #gpMagic #fsd157c #Allin157c #JumpRope #teamwork

Group Juggling with SPARK PE. Letting the kids pick their own groups allowed this crew of pretty coordinated boys to go faster and build up to 4 balls. Most groups were successful with 3 at a slower pace which was great! Success for everyone. Honey Elementary Lubbock ISD

We did PE teacher for the day! I enjoyed planning with my “PE teachers” to choose music, a workout video, their favorite tag game, and main activity. I made a little badge and whistle for each of them so they could look like the teacher. It was a fun day! Honey Elementary

My team took a licking with the boys tourneys we went to. The 14U boys teams are mostly 14 year olds where a majority of my kids are 12 and under. We tried our best though. We played locally & won the silver bracket. Whatever they are capable of, is what I want to see. 🙂

We finished up our SPARK PE dance unit. Last week we did Hot Time square dance. The kids struggled so I went back to the drawing board. Partner on the left wears a jersey. BINGO. Easier to see “partners” and “corners.” ❤️ their excitement! Lubbock ISD Honey Elementary
