McCarty Wood Restoration-A great turnout with help from all ages. We put a lot of effort into the east side - removing weeds, putting down pinestraw and planting new plants…it looks fantastic. Some photos attached. Thanks everyone. Stay tuned for our next event in October.

McCarty woods held up pretty well during hurricane. Some big branches down at south entrance. No major tree falls. Several Carolina plums snapped; one was blocking the E- W trail near E entrance— we removed it and opened up trail. Other limbs can be removed at Oct 27th cleanup.
