BREAKING NEWS❗ Today the UK 🇬🇧 has announced that it will host the CEPI replenishment summit in 2022. The summit will raise funds for vaccine research & development, and will support CEPI's goal to cut vaccine development time to just 100 days.

The UK 🇬🇧 has pledged up to £1.3 billion to help tackle COVID-19 globally. Only through combined action, can we defeat this global threat.

Today Helen Grant OBE MP is visiting Western Area today to see first-hand how #UKAid programme Leh Wi Learn is supporting teaching, learning and safety in school. The UK is committed to ensuring that all children, including all girls, get 12 years quality education David Moinina Sengeh.

Today we marked completion for 6 transfer stations, 4 waste sorting platforms, ~450m of road, 1 staircase, several composting stations in 5 hard to reach communities. Funded by UK in Sierra Leone 🇬🇧🇸🇱, these are part of FCC’s waste management strategy #TransformFreetown.

Really enjoyed today's workshop with Scottish partners to discuss Places for Growth & the relocation of over 1,000 GOV.UK civil service jobs to Scotland. An exciting opportunity for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office to draw on the country’s best talent to deliver policies on behalf of the whole 🇬🇧.

Great initiative, which I hope inspires these students to consider the FCDO as a future career, and help us attract the best talent from across the UK, regardless of their background.
