So, I'm adding a new anti-aliasing method to #UE5 called "Conservative Morphological Anti-Aliasing 2" (or simply "CMAA2"). Besides retaining the sharpness of original image, it also looks great in motion.

Just one side note, the TAA frame on the second screenshot was recorded with 30 fps movie render sequence, which is an extremely bad case for it (I didn't pay much attention when recording). I need to redo this one with 60 frames, but... well, the ghosting will still be there.

Time to invest some time into custom GI in UE5 (and fail miserably).

I see quite a bit of interest here, but please don't get too hyped up 😄 I'm a total noob in GI and just sharing my silly experiments. The probability of it to end in plugin form is super low. However I hope it'll give a spark to more skilled people to make something new!
