The holidays can feel like a whirlwind, but the ocean reminds us to slow down and breathe. It’s not only calming but also provides the oxygen we need to keep going. 💙 Pause. Watch. Recharge. And let’s protect the oceans that sustain us all. 🎥: Delaney Trowbridge

Iceland recently authorized new permits for five years allowing the killing of 209 fin whales and 217 minke whales each year. While this decision is a devastating setback, IMMP will work to a complete and immediate end to commercial whaling. bbc.com/news/articles/…

This is the heartbreaking reality of captivity. Dolphins belong in the wild, not confined to concrete tanks for profit. 💔 It's time to end marine mammal captivity for good. #EmptyTheTanks 📸: Mark J. Palmer

Over 7M dolphins were slaughtered by the tuna industry. 🐬💔 IMMP exposed this in 1988, leading to the Dolphin Safe tuna label. Deaths dropped 90%, but fleets in Mexico, Venezuela & Colombia still kill. IMMP’s Dolphin Safe program is holding them accountable! 📸: Shutterstock

Happy World Whale Day! Did you know whales play a HUGE role in fighting climate change? Their poop fertilizes tiny ocean plants called phytoplankton, which absorb carbon and produce oxygen. More whales = a healthier planet! #WorldWhaleDay #DYK 📸: Mark J. Palmer
